Living in Chaos!!

I tidied pretty much my whole house this morning, I feel like that was a waste of time as I am sitting here trying to gain the energy to do it again. 

As you will know if you have been keeping up with my posts I am in the process of trying to make my house sellable. Oh god I wish I had just decided to put on the market as is, but we need as much as we can get for it so all the jobs we have been putting off need done now. 

We are finally at a point where myself, Graham, and my Mum and Dad are all off work so we can really start getting on with it. Problem is when there is people working upstairs and downstairs the house can get a little messy! 

The picture above was taken tonight. If you face that wall it looks not to bad but turn around ....

...yeh not so great huh?

Although we did find this little guy hiding under the wallpaper

I have run out of room downstairs for my clothes airers ( I can't use my washing line outside because when Graham was digging up the garden he buried the bit for the post to go into) so one of them has ended up halfway up the stairs.

And then you make it to the living room and see this

Aaaahh! I swear this was spotless this morning. Not even the kitchen is tidy 

I admit I am a pretty messy person most of the time but even I am getting annoyed with this!! I have actually been quite good over the last couple of weeks at keeping up with the housework and things so to now have the house looking like this is so demoralising!!

I am going to have to tidy it as best I can tonight but I know half way through tomorrow we will be in a mess again. The sooner this work is done the better. By the way the jobs that were done today were stripping three quarters of the wallpaper from my bedroom, putting the kick board things on the kitchen cupboards and changing the kitchen tap because it was leaking. Yup that lead to all that mess. Crazy!

Ok I have to go and make some food and do some tidying up now whilst no one is here and before I go stir crazy.
