I HAVE A NEW JOB!!!!!!! I am so excited. It's not an entirely new job in that it's still for the same company I currently work for, but it's a promotion and I will be moving stores. I'm so excited and can't wait to go and get started.
I have actually done this job before in another store so I know what I am getting myself into and it's not going to be the easiest, but that's ok. I'm ready to start challenging myself again.
In my current role I feel like I have almost stepped all the way back down the ladder although I am a supervisor I don't feel I am working to my full potential there and a lot of the time I feel like I'm doing the job of the next level down and the only difference between me and them is that I have keys.
It's all good though, for all my current role has it's faults it has kind of been what I needed for a little while. To take a step back and get a bit more distance from work so that I could recover from the depression and kind of find myself a bit. I've really enjoyed working with the staff in this store too.
Now I have had about a year and a half of it and to be honest I'm getting bored. That's why I chose to apply for the higher position again. I need to be challenged in my work and have a bit of variety.
I'm just so super excited and happy that I managed to get this position. I don't have a start date yet and to be honest I don't even know if my current manager has been told that I got the job yet, but just knowing that I will be going at some point is exciting enough.
I may have to have a little bit of celebrating tonight seeing as I'm not back to work until Sunday :)
