People often ask me why my cats are indoor cats and why I don't let them out. I usually say it's because of where I stay, or I don't have a cat flap. The real reasons....
Jess would kill other cats and Nugget would be killed!
I'm not even joking. For such a cute little cat Jess is scary as hell!
I actually feared for my life earlier. There is a cat, which I think belongs to our neighbours, that keeps popping up at our windows. It is a seriously cute fluffy thing but Jess doesn't seem to think so.
Anyway the cat appeared at the back door today so being me I thought I would go out and say hello.
BIG MISTAKE!
Jess obviously got the scent of this cat and went absolutely mental! I have never seen her like that before. She tried to attack Nugget, she was running so fast she was literally bouncing off the walls.
I had to grab Nugget and shut the living room door on her and try to let her calm down.
I couldn't get through a door way without her going mental at me. In fact at one point she had me backed into the corner.
Nugget took to hiding under the sofa.
I never thought I would be so scared of my cat, it's ridiculous. I even phoned my mum because I didn't know what to do.
Turns out ignoring her was probably the best option. Leaving her alone to calm down and let her come to me.
I am never speaking to any other cats again!
