If I had to choose only one item of makeup to use for the rest of my life it would probably be mascara. If I'm having a no make up day I will still pop on a little bit. So naturally I am making it my mission to try as many different mascaras as I can.
My latest purchase was the Rimmel Volume Colourist mascara.
I have always got on well with Rimmel mascaras and they are pretty much a go to for a basic everyday one.
This one is no exception it's an all round good product. It's lengthening and volumising. It isn't clumpy. Overall I'm very pleased with the results.
There is one more thing about this mascara, a unique selling point I guess. It has lash tint complex. Basically it claims to gradually tint your lashes over time. The time frame given is from 2 weeks continuous use.
I'm going to test that out. I have been using it for the last two or three days, I should have taken a photo before I started using it but obviously, being me, I forgot. I'm guessing it's not made much difference so far though so I am taking a photo today of my bare lashes and then I will take another one after 2 weeks of continuous use.
Obviously my lashes are pretty dark to start with so I'm not sure how much difference this product will really make to them but to be honest though even if it's not effective in the lash tinting it is still a really nice mascara and worth a shot.
I will update you in 2 weeks if it's made any difference :)
