January Favourites

Well here we are at the end of another month. That can mean only one thing...time for my monthly favourites!

Throughout January I have been listening to a lot of music that I used to listen to when I was younger. There is a lot of new music I have really been liking but some of the older stuff is just bringing back memories of better times and when I was last on the right track to being myself. In particular I have been listening to a lot of Busted and Son of Dork, and just that kind of music. I used to absolutely love these bands but not so much the songs that were huge. From busted I love 'Everything that I knew'. I don't know why I have just always loved this song. 'Little Things' by Son of Dork is another good one. I can't stop listening to them along with a whole load of similar stuff.

My New Look

As there was so many aspects of my life changing I decided to do what every woman would do at a time like this...get a new hairdo!

January Glossybox

Well I have to say Glossybox have started the year well with this months box. I wasn't sure what to expect as last year was a bit hit and miss with Glossybox but I honestly think they have done well this month.

Roller Coaster

If you read my post a couple of days ago you will know it was pretty positive and about how happy I have been recently. Get ready for the opposite. 

For a while there I thought I had forgotten how to cry. It was so odd to me that when my marriage ended I didn't shed a tear, although I had done a lot of that in the months leading to the break up. I put it down to the fact that I had already done my crying and that was that. 

Yeah...turns out I can still cry. I think maybe there just hadn't been that closure yet. I mean in my mind it was over, done, finished, but there wasn't really a falling out or any cheating or any specific thing that made it final.

Life Update

I thought it was about time I did a little life update. I do like to write a chatty post now and again and now seemed like the right time seeing as things are actually going quite well for me at the moment.

Hello 2016

Happy New Year everyone!! I can't believe it is 2016 already. The years are just flying by. I hope you all had a great New Years.

 My last post of 2015 was quite a negative one but I am determined that will not be the case at the end of 2016. I need to make the most of this one and start living my life.
